Help

Once upon a time in a forest, there lived an elephant. One day, few hunters with sharp weapons, chased it. The elephant in fear,  ran in all directions. A lion, which was going in that way, felt pity, and chased the hunters with a big roar. The hunters flee from the spot with fear. The elephant bowed to the lion and said ,"I will never forget the help you have done. Whenever you are in trouble, I will repay it, even if it costs my life". The lion arrogantly replied, "I pity you. Why do I need your help? Everyone flees on seeing me", and left the place proudly.

One day, the lion was very thirsty and went to the lake for water. Accidentally, it got stuck in the silt and got dragged into the lake. The lion roared with fear of drowning and pain. The elephant, which was grazing in the surrounding, heard the roar and ran to the place. On seeing the lion, it immediately pulled the lion out of the water, with its long trunk, and saved its life. The lion which was out of danger,  said "The other day, I arrogantly claimed that I will never be in danger. Any one has to surrender to the calamities of nature. I learnt from my experience that, one needs help from others to overcome such dangers. You are my true friend from now on". From then onwards both of them became good friends.

Power of Unity

Once upon a time in a forest, there lived six cows. The cows lived and moved as a herd, to graze and drink water from the nearby lake.  The fellow animals had regards to their friendship. A tiger, which came to the forest for the first time, got tempted on seeing the cows which were stout and healthy. It determined to eat them, come what may. However, cows being together had become a big challenge to the tiger. So, the tiger waited for the right opportunity to hunt the cows, when they are not in a herd.

One day, the tiger saw, five of the cows grazing on one side and the other one grazing a little far from the rest of them.  The tiger initiated a sweet talk with the cow and tempted the cow saying, "There is a hilly area nearby with green pastures. I can accompany you to the place. You can happily eat how much ever, you want".

The cow believed the tiger. It followed the tiger ignoring the warnings from the other cows. After walking quiet a distance, the tiger attacked the cow and attempted to kill it. The cow was shocked with the sudden attack. It cried saying to itself, that, it learnt a good lesson for ignoring its friends warnings. Meanwhile, the other cows which were following them from a distance, attacked the tiger, all at once. "We suspected you, when you tried to separate one of us. So, we secretly followed you", said one of the cows. Having understood, how dangerous it is to move alone, the cow never left the herd.

A smart bullock

Once upon a time in a village, there lived a Bullock. The village was hit with drought. Grass had withered, and there was scarcity for fodder. Hence, the bullock left the village and went to a far away forest. The forest was filled with grass and a lake was full of water. Bullock felt very happy. It ate the grass, drank water from the lake and lived in a cave, by the lake. Bullock became healthy and stout, as it had enough food and rest.

One day, while it was resting by the cave, a lion came in that way. Upon seeing the stout and white animal, the lion said to itself, "wow!, I can have a feast today", and started to walk towards the Bullock. At the same time, the bullock also noticed the lion, and so, looked into the cave and said loudly, "look, don't prepare any thing for food, yet. I just saw a lion. I will get that, once it comes close. We shall cook and eat it". The lion got scared, it assumed that the bullock is some huge animal than him and ran away to save its life.

A fox watched the lion running and asked for the reason. The lion revealed, what happened. The fox said, "It is an ordinary bullock. You got scared for no reason. Lets go and hunt it down. I am hungry". The lion was apprehensive and saw the fox with suspicion. The fox said, "For your assurance, let us tie a rope to each of our legs". Fox started to walk before the lion, to make the lion believe it actions. On observing the fox that was approaching the cave, the bullock said with a loud voice, "hey Fox, why did you get only one lion when I asked for two. What will my children eat?". The lion got scared and started to run. As it was tied with a rope to fox leg, it dragged the fox along with it. In this way, the bullock smartly escaped and the Fox had to suffer severe bruises.

A fruitful plan

Once upon a time, there lived a farmer, Ramaiah. He had a milch cow. He sold the cow's milk, made his living and bought 2 more cows in a while. Few years later, the first cow became senile. So, he left the cow in a neighboring village, as he considered it to be waste of money to feed the cow. Next day, Krishnaiah, Ramaiah's neighbor, saw the cow, when he went to the neighboring village on some work. He brought the cow and handed it over to Ramaiah. Krishnaiah, could observe a clear disappointment in Ramaiah's face. He sensed, that Ramaiah intentionally left the cow in the village.

Following day, Krishnaiah went to Ramaiah's house and worshiped the old cow with turmeric, vermilion and fed it, bananas. The same day in the evening, he distributed sweets to Ramaiah and  neighbors. Ramaiah curiously asked the reason for the celebration. Krishnaiah happily said, "A pandit suggested me to worship an old cow, before starting any good work. Today, after I worshiped your cow, I was able to collect amount from a stubborn creditor. Also, I invested the amount in a new business. All this happended because of worshipping the old cow".

Two days later, he fed the old cow with green grass. He returned in the evening and said, "Today business in our provision store was excellent than usual".  Ramaiah was depressed on hearing it. He felt, good luck would come to him as well, if he worships the cow like Krishnaiah. From then on, he started to take care of the cow. Krishnaiah observed the change in Ramaiah and felt happy to see his fruitful plan in action.

Learnings:
Time is flying by/ time flies
give time vs spend time
hit on emotions
condition one to watch a program/hook people to watch program

gradually -> in a while
fed it with bananas -> fed it, bananas
in similar fashion - like Krishnaiah
